Beatsource Integration Components
The Beatsource Previews and Free Trial buttons have been removed. Automatic login on startup has also been disabled in preparation for the service deprecation. Manual login is still available in the Streaming Preferences, until the service is fully terminated. -
macOS 12 Support
macOS 12 (Monterey) is no longer officially supported. The installer will not be blocked, but stable operation is no longer guaranteed.

DDJ-FLX4 Mic Input must be manually enabled
The auto-configuration of the DDJ-FLX4 does not configure the microphone inputs.
If you want to use a microphone, the input channels must be manually configured in the Input Routing preferences. This only has to be done once in your first session and will be recalled thereafter.

Audio device switch not triggering when driver is changed
Traktor will now properly switch to the selected audio device when switching between WASAPI (Shared), WASAPI (Exclusive), or ASIO drivers for an audio device of the same name. -
WASAPI (Exclusive) and WASAPI (Shared) drivers sharing incompatible settings
Settings like sample rate and buffer size are now stored separately for WASAPI (Exclusive) and WASAPI (Shared) audio drivers. Traktor will no longer try to apply settings from one driver that are incompatible with the other.

Custom Audio Routing Reset
Due to improved audio device handling in version 4.4.2, previous audio configurations are not backward compatible and will revert to default values upon updating.
Users with custom setups or 3rd-party MIDI controllers must manually reconfigure these settings in the Preferences menu after installation.

Z1 MK2 sometimes assigned to wrong driver on Windows
On connection, sometimes Traktor selects the wrong audio driver for the Z1. In this case, you must select the Z1 MK2 ASIO driver manually in the Audio Setup preferences. -
Z1 MK2 firmware update required on first launch
To ensure flawless functionality, the firmware of the Z1 MK2 must be updated on first connection. Traktor will show a dialog pointing you to the device updater, when you first connect your Z1 MK2. -
Stems waveforms initially not visible on D2 / S5 /S8
When loading stem files (associated or not) on the D2 / S5 / S8, the waveforms are not displayed (stripe is). With any screen interaction triggering a refresh, the waveforms are shown correctly. -
Beatport / Beatsource lossless tracks show wrong compression rate
Tracks from Beatport / Beatsource that you already played in the past in AAC format will continue to show the 256 kbps compression rate, even after you changed your Streaming Preferences on Beatport / Beatsource.com to lossless (Flac). Separates any of your local tracks into drums, bass, vocals and instrumental parts in high-quality. Performing with stems is supported by S2 MK3, S4 MK3, S3, X1 MK3, D2, S8 and S5. For older Traktor controllers and for third-party controllers Stem controls can be manually added to the mappings. -
Stem mute buttons
The stem control panel in the stem deck has received a dedicated button for muting / unmuting each stem individually. -
Flexible beatgrids
Define multiple tempo-zones per track for highly-accurate looping, beat jumps, beat effects, and mixing of tracks with changing tempo. -
Separate grid markers and cue points
Grid markers are now completely separate entities to cue points. Hot cues can now be deleted without removing the underlying beat grid. -
