The customization of MIDI commands for KOMPLETE KONTROL keyboards (A-Series, M32, & S-Series MK2) is not possible in the Controller Editor software. Custom MIDI assignments are made directly in the MIDI Assignment Editor of the KOMPLETE KONTROL software.
Note: Controller Editor must still be used in order to customize MIDI commands on the first-generation KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series MK1 keyboard.
The following KOMPLETE KONTROL versions are required in order to use the MIDI Assignment Editor:
S-Series Mk2 (S49 & S61) |
S-Series Mk2 (S88) |
M32 | A-Series (A25, A49, & A61) |
1.9.1 and higher | 2.0.3 and higher | 2.0.4 and higher | 2.1.1 and higher |
When the KOMPLETE KONTROL A-Series / M32 / S-Series MK2 keyboard is connected to the KOMPLETE KONTROL software, a MIDI button appears in the top right corner of the screen. Click on it to switch to the MIDI Assignment Editor.
Note: the MIDI button will only appear when using the KOMPLETE KONTROL software in standalone mode. It will not appear in the plug-in version.
In KOMPLETE KONTROL's MIDI Assignment Editor you can customize MIDI commands for your KNOBS, BUTTONS, KEYS, and PEDALS. You can organize them with Pages and save your customized mappings as Templates.
Note: The example above shows the MIDI Assignment Editor with a KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series MK2 keyboard connected. The available options will vary depending on which KOMPLETE KONTROL keyboard is connected.
