Note: Proxy support in Native Access is available for Mac OS X 10.10 (or higher) and Windows 7 (or higher).
Native Access respects network configurations established via a Proxy server and allows Proxy users to activate and download Native Instruments products without any issues or limitations.
Setting up a Proxy server may be necessary in the following cases:
- You have purchased an educational (EDU) license and are having difficulties sharing access with computers based on different geographical locations.
- Your local internet service provider restricts the access to certain network connections.
You can find different alternatives to set up a Proxy on your computer. We recommend to perform an Internet search for 'how to set up a Proxy in', followed by the name of your operating system. In any case, make sure to use the 'http' and not the 'auto' Proxy configuration.
Please consult the documentation of the Proxy service you chose in case you experience technical difficulties when attempting to establish a connection with Native Access. Additionally check for any known Proxy limitations in the documentation of your operating system.
