After installing TRAKTOR (SCRATCH) PRO 2.7.0, you may notice an increased CPU load, which may result in audio or graphic issues. This is a known issue which occurs after importing the TRAKTOR settings from the previous version. In order to resolve this, please follow the steps below:
- Ensure that TRAKTOR is not running.
- Rename your "Traktor Settings.tsi" file to "Traktor Setting-Backup.tsi". The file is located here:
- Mac OS X: Macintosh HD > Users > *Your username* > Documents > Native Instruments > Traktor 2.7.0 > "Traktor Settings.tsi"
- Windows: C: > Users > *Your Username* > Documents > Native Instruments > Traktor 2.7.0 > "Traktor Settings.tsi"
- Start TRAKTOR.
Upon launching the software, the Setup Wizard screen will show up. By completing the Setup Wizard, a new settings file is generated with default parameters. TRAKTOR should now perform as expected with a normal CPU load.
Note: Depending on your system configuration, the audio issues may persist even after restoring the settings file. In this case, go to TRAKTOR Preferences > Audio Setup and disable the option Enable Multicore Support.
