Installing with Native Access
To install the Battery 4 Factory Library on an external hard drive, open Native Access > Preferences and change the Content Location. You can find detailed instructions on how to change install locations in this article.
If you already installed the Battery 4 Factory Library on your system drive and you want to move it to a different drive, follow the instructions in this article.
If you have to reinstall the Battery 4 Library, follow the steps in this article to uninstall the Library. Before installing the Library again, make sure to set the Content Location to your preferred hard drive as explained in this article.
Installing with the Legacy Installer / Downloader
- Launch the BATTERY 4 Installer / Downloader and follow the on-screen instructions until you reach the window labelled Library Destination Folder.
- Click the Change tab to open the Browse for Folder menu.
- In the Browse for Folder menu, navigate to the location where you wish to install the Battery 4 Factory Library. In this example we have created a new folder on an external hard drive called NI Libraries. Confirm your selection with OK.
Note: To create a new folder click Make New Folder located bottom-left of the Browse for Folder menu.
The Library Destination Folder menu will now reflect the newly selected directory. Click Next to proceed with the installation.
