When entering your serial number in Service Center or Native Access in order to activate it, you may encounter one of the following error message:
Service Center: The serial number is locked.
Native Access: The serial you're trying to activate has been locked
There can be two reasons for this:
- Our system has locked the serial number due to a hardware replacement. Please check if you received a new replacement serial number. In case you returned a defect hardware and received a new replacement product, please use the serial number that came in the new box. If you already registered the replacement device, you can find its serial number in your NI account. Please contact our Registration Support if you need further help with this.
- If the product you want to activate is from a third-party developer (e.g. TRAKTOR Pioneer Edition, Heavyocity KONTAKT Libraries, etc.) please contact the third-party developer directly to obtain more information and release the lock.
