The monitor function in the MASCHINE sampler is designed for stereo signals. Therefore, external audio signals fed to a mono input of the audio interface are only monitored on one side.
The steps below describe how to configure MASCHINE to monitor an incoming mono signal on both sides. In our example we will load a GUITAR RIG Sound.
- Choose an Input module in the first slot of a Sound and select the Source your external audio device is assigned to. In our example, this is Ext In 1.
- Load an instance of GUITAR RIG into the second slot of the same Sound.
- In the GUITAR RIG header, choose channel L or R as monitor signal, depending on the input channel you are using on the audio interface.
Now the signal should be audible on both left and right side.
