Native Access is an administration tool for product activation, installation, and updates for all Native Instruments products. Once installed, Native Access can be found in the following directory:
- macOS: Macintosh HD > Applications > Native Access
- Windows: C: > Program Files > Native Instruments > Native Access
Note: If using an older OS version (e.g. macOS 10.13 / Windows 8 or earlier), you can download an older version of Native Access from here.

Preferences - File Management
Click Preferences on the left side pane to access the File Management settings.
Before installing your products, verify all file locations to ensure that your NI applications and content libraries will be installed in the locations you prefer. See this article (or video) to learn more about defining installation paths in Native Access.
Note: Enabling Usage Data tracking is optional. See this article for more details.
Library - Available
Here you can find all the products you have purchased but not yet installed. Click Install All at the top to download all products at once, or click Install to the right of each product to download them individually.
Updates
Here you can find all available updates for your NI software and libraries. Click Update All at the top to update all products at once, or click Update to the right of each product to update them individually.
If a product's update is marked with an orange exclamation, this means the product is no longer found on its original installation path. In this case, click Repair and choose the option to Reinstall or Relocate the affected product.

Library - Installed
Here you can find a list of all products that are currently installed on your computer.
If a product entry is marked with an orange exclamation, this means the product is no longer found on its original installation path. In this case, click Repair and choose the option to Reinstall or Relocate the affected product.

Add Serial
Here you can enter the serial number to register certain NI products such as:
- NI hardware devices
- Physical box products (e.g. KOMPLETE bundle)
- Third-party licensed content for KONTAKT or REAKTOR
It's required to add these product serials in order to access any software downloads included with your product. Your downloads will appear in the Library > Available section of Native Access after the serial number is registered.
