In this article, we explain how to locate your NI product serial number. This applies to your existing registrations, as well as serial numbers included with new products.
Finding Your Registered Serial Numbers
To find the serial numbers that are already registered into your NI Account, log into this page. There, you will find a full list of all NI Products that you currently have registered.
Finding Serial Numbers of New Products
TRAKTOR Hardware and Software Bundles
The product box for a Traktor hardware/software bundle contains a registration card like the one pictured below. After registering your Traktor hardware with Native Access, all software included with your product becomes available for download. For more details, please see this article.
Maschine / Komplete Kontrol Keyboard
The product boxes for Maschine and Komplete Kontrol hardware/software bundles will contain a registration card like the one pictured below. After registering your Maschine or Komplete Kontrol hardware with Native Access, all software included with your product becomes available for download. For more details, please see this article.
Hardware Serial and Device ID Labels
You can also find the Hardware Serial Number and Device ID printed on the underside of your device. This applies to all current Komplete, Maschine, and Traktor hardware devices.
Note: Older NI hardware devices (e.g. Audio Kontrol 1, Kore, Rig Kontrol, etc.) do not require registration.
Boxed Komplete Bundles and NI Software Products
The product box for a Komplete bundle (hard disk or flash drive) contains a registration card like the one pictured below.
NI Product Downloads
When purchasing a download product from the NI webshop, your NI product serial number is automatically placed in your NI User Account. After the order has been finalized, launch Native Access and check the Available / Not installed section for your download. For more details, please see this article.
Legacy NI Products
Serial numbers for legacy products are found on the serial number card originally enclosed within the product box or the installation disk cover.
If you kept the original product box, you can also find a barcode sticker on the outside displaying a 14-digit number. This can be used to reference the original serial number.
