This article explains how to route MASCHINE Sounds to separate tracks in FL Studio. This is useful if you wish to use different insert / send effects or apply FL Studio's volume and panorama controls to each sound individually.
Configuring FL Studio
-
Load the MASCHINE VST plug-in in FL Studio:
ADD > Channel > More plugins... -
Navigate to the settings tab of the Maschine 2 plug-in and then choose the Processing tab.
-
In the section Connections, click on Auto map outputs. This will automatically assign all 16 outputs to separate channels.
Configuring MASCHINE
- Once you have loaded a kit in MASCHINE, click on the channel icon, then on SOUND, and then choose Output.
- Under the Audio tab, choose separate destinations for each sound of the loaded kit. In our example, Kick EarlyBird 1 is set to Ext. 1. The following sound (Snare EarlyBird 1) is set to Ext. 2, and so on in ascending order.
Your MASCHINE kit is now routed to individual channels in FL Studio's mixer and can be controlled or have effects applied to them individually.
