How do I install NI 360?
You can install all your NI 360 products with Native Access 2. You will see all the products listed in the Subscription tab. You can find more information on setting up NI 360 in this video.
How many computers can I use NI 360 on?
You can install your NI 360 products on up to three different computers. It is not permitted to use your installations simultaneously or share your account. More information can be found here, or in the End User License Agreement.
Do I need to be connected to the internet to run my NI 360 products?
An internet connection is required to install and activate the NI 360 products. Once installed, all products can be used offline.
Please note that you must be online and open Native Access once a month so that your subscription can renew itself.
What happens to my existing NI products when I subscribe?
Your existing products will not be affected. You can still manage them from Native Access.
If you have previously purchased a product that is also part of your subscription, that product will only appear once in Native Access. The license providing access to the largest feature set will take precedence.
Payment / Discounts
Which payment methods are available?
Currently, we are offering payment with PayPal, Debit Cards and Credit Card (VISA and MasterCard / more to be added in the future). Please note that prepaid cards are not accepted.
Where can I find my NI 360 invoices?
Go to My Account, log in, and click on "My Subscription”. From here you can download any available invoices.
My credit card has expired - what can I do?
- Go to My Account, log in, and click on Subscription.
- Click on the MANAGE MY SUBSCRIPTION tab.
- Click on Payment Methods to update your credit card or change the payment method.
Can I update my payment method?
Yes, it's possible to change your payment method:
- Go to My Account, log in, and click on Subscription.
- Click on the MANAGE MY SUBSCRIPTION tab.
- Click on Payment Methods to change the payment method.
Can I change my NI 360 plan from monthly to yearly and get the discount?
Yes, it's possible to change your subscription plan:
- Go to My Account, log in, and click on Subscription.
- Click on the MANAGE MY SUBSCRIPTION tab.
- Choose your plan and then click on the Change my Subscription option.
Is there a student / EDU discount?
Currently not, but we are working on it. More information on our educational programs can be found here.
I already own one of the products available for subscription, do I get a discount
if I want to subscribe?
Currently, this is not possible. If you wish, you may sell the product you own. This article explains how to request a License Transfer ID to sell your NI product.
Subscription Management
Can I pause my NI 360 subscription plan and resume it later?
It is possible to cancel and restart your subscription at any time. This can be done from the My Account section of our website:
- Go to My Account, log in, and click on Subscription.
- Click on the MANAGE MY SUBSCRIPTION tab.
From here you can cancel or re-enable your subscription. cancellation will be effective at the end of the current term.
What happens to my projects if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel your subscription, your NI 360 instruments and effects will stop working at the end of your current term.
However, settings and presets will be preserved in the last saved-state, audio will continue to pass through effects, and most instruments will work for 15 minutes, enabling you to bounce individual tracks or your project. We are working on expanding this behavior to all instruments and effects.
How can I cancel my subscription?
It is possible to cancel and restart your subscription at any time. This can be done from the My Account section of our website.
- Go to My Account, log in, and click on Subscription.
- Click on the MANAGE MY SUBSCRIPTION tab.
Depending on your choice, subscription works on a 1-month billing or an annual cycle. This means that when you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of that cycle, and you won't get charged any further.
We will remind you 8 days before your trial expires. If you don’t want to subscribe, please ensure to cancel in time before the subscription starts. We will not refund started billing cycles - also not partially.
Higher and lower plans - Upgrades and Downgrades
Can I upgrade to a higher plan, or downgrade to a lower plan?
Yes, you can upgrade and downgrade any time. When you upgrade, you’ll have immediate access to the new products, and you’ll be charged the prorated balance.
When you downgrade, you’ll keep your access to the products from the higher plan until the current billing cycle runs out. Only after the billing cycle ended, the products included in the higher plan become inactive.
Updates
How often will my subscription get updated with new products?
How will I be notified when a new product is available for me?
You will receive an email once a new product, new content, or an update is available. In addition, you may also simply check Native Access 2 for any updates or available product downloads.
Will existing products be removed once new products get added?
No, additions of new products will increase the amount of existing products.
What products will be added exactly?
Check our COMING SOON section on the NI 360 website.
Do you remove products from the subscription?
If products reach their end-of-life, we may remove these products for new subscribers. As long as you stay subscribed, you will keep having access to them. This does not mean that we will maintain product support for newer operating system versions if they are officially at the end of support.
Other
I don't see NI 360 in Native Access
NI 360 Essentials, Plus or Pro is the name of the subscription bundle. It contains a collection of individual Native Instruments, iZotope and brainworx products. The bundle name itself (360 Essentials, 360 Plus, 360 Pro) does not appear as a product entry in Native Access. If you still use Native Access 1, please upgrade to the current version here.
I don't see all of the NI 360 products in my DAW
How do I load a Kontakt Instrument?
To load any Kontakt Instrument in a DAW, you must load the Kontakt (Player) plug-in. From there, you can load an instrument from the browser available in Kontakt (Player). You may also directly select a preset, which will then automatically load the respective instrument. You can find more info in this article.
