Further Troubleshooting
Check the Headphones
- Make sure the headphone cable is fully inserted into the PHONES connector on the device.
- Try connecting the headphones to another device to make sure they're working as expected.
Check MASCHINE Software Audio and MIDI Settings
Check to make sure the MASCHINE audio interface is set up properly. See this video to learn more about audio and MIDI setup. This applies to MASCHINE and all other Native Instruments software.
Note: If using MASCHINE as a plug-in, check the audio and MIDI setup in your DAW preferences. Please also check the documentation for your DAW if needed.
Check the MASCHINE+ (Stand-Alone) Audio Interface
If using the stand-alone MASCHINE+ with an external USB audio interface, the headphone audio is output from the USB device's headphone connector.
When using the internal MASCHINE+ audio interface, the headphone audio is output from the MASCHINE+ PHONES connector.
Follow these steps to ensure that the right audio interface is selected.
- Start your MASCHINE+ and press the SETTINGS button.
- Use Buttons 5 / 6 to enter the Audio page.
- Use Knob 1 under Interface to select Internal.
- Press SETTINGS again and make sure the PHONES VOLUME knob is turned up.
