    Hello,

There is no default layout. The Mikro Mk3 in midi mode will send on-off for all buttons, cc functions are assignable to these. The encoder will send cc 7 and the touch strip functions as a mod wheel.

    Thanks,

How do I assign CC values to the buttons without the use of Controller Editor?

Example: The pad on the bottom left sends C3 I believe. How do I change it?

This is not possible with the Mikro MK3, there will be no further Controller Editor Support.

Ok....well then back to my original question. Since the layout of the MK3 mikro can't be changed what are the default CC values assigned to each button on the device?

Also, how are 'cc functions assignable' to each button without the use of control Editor?

    @Justin Hampton

There is a forum thread about Maschine Mikro MK3 MIDI mode with more information, (like the default mapping map picture)

    https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/maschine-micro-mk3-midi.336385/page-3#post-1699075

You may also find other useful infos under that post.

Seriously? No further Controller Editor support?

That is BS. So in order to get a useful MIDI controller I have to buy the older MK2 or the full size MK3?

If that's the case, I'm just switching to a different brand and selling this useless junk.

Same issue here. I both the new maschine micro mk3 in hopes of being able to seamlessly integrate midi recording in logic pro for pads and “mood wheel” parameters.

It seams every time I buy hardware from NI they manage to make it useless by messing up the key futures. Way back maschine software had a midi through option which was exactly what a lot of users needed. Why is that future not available anymore? A partial save was the controller editor. But now that’s also not an option anymore?

Maschine micro mk3 and controller mk3 have similar layout and all matching components therefore same code for the matching components.

With a controller editor software template of maschine controller mk3 already in existence, how hard can it be to take those same codes and strip them down to create a condensed version of the same template to suit maschine micro mk3 In controll editor?

I don’t understand with what mental backing something as simple as making a stripped down version of the same code is not being made, considering we are talking about a newly released hardware that should by my standards last a user at least a few years. However with all the midi incompatibilities the maschine micro mk3 is currently useless right of the shelf...

Please help me with a solution NI, I would like to keep the product but if I can’t make it work seamlessly, I’m done trying and waiting for your company to start listening to your costumers.

-What is my best option to set up maschine micro mk3 to directly record midi into logic pro x withought having to copy paste and drag midi out of maschine software?

In midi mode can I move the root note of maschine micro mk3 to utilize all the pads and not just the top row?

Or Is there any way I can set up midi to record in logic through maschine software input/output midi tabs?

Recording midi into maschine software and dragging it out into logic and then deleting it in maschine isn’t an option. It kills creative flow and makes my costumers/co artists wait for no productive reason apart from poorly designed software.

I am looking solely for seamless integration and none of the work around solutions that take my time every time I want a sound/beat in from maschine in logic.

I want to use maschine as a drum pad controller for NI drum samples in logic pro

What am i reading?! "There will be no further Controller Editor Support". I just bought yesterday my brand new Mikro and this is something i really don't want to hear. Am i wrong? If I need to play some low notes (C0, C#0 etc.) in MIDI mode, that's not possible. Or how can i do that? Can't get that octave - or octave + working.

Don't be too surprised, I've learned that Native Instruments is a terrible company lol.

They won't be getting a dime from me ever again. Unfortunately, they cater to unintelligent people(which the world has plenty of) so they'll be in business for a long time.

Whaaaat?!?! Wow, I'm glad I noticed this discussion. I was about to order Mikro, but better change the plan. I will need a controller that will work with my existing SW and I need to be able to assign MIDI notes freely to pads. A shame, Maschine looked really promising.
