There are problems with this sort of thing in Reaper too. For me, the cursor always goes to the end of the text. Even if I am typing at the beginning! :(

    Hi Will,

Can you send me a quick video of this issue via a Google Drive/Dropbox shareable link?

Also, did you click into the save as box or the save preset box before starting to type?

    Hi Las

I uploaded 2-MP4 videos to my google drive with audio describing what I'm doing.  One show what happens when you type various letters/numbers on the keyboard in both the 'save box' and the 'VST2 save presets dropdown menu', they behave differently. The second one is shows the commands in cakewalk manual that the keys respond to, for some reason Massive X does not take control of the keyboard functions when you try to save. When you use the VST2 save preset it does not save with the proper extension it uses .'fxp'  the file designation for Halion Sonic 3 ??? I have over a 1,000 plugins and have never had save problems like this with any of them. I'm very knowledgeable in using computers having started in 1973, I build and repair my own systems, and some for friends.

There in a folder called 'Massive X save problem.' on my google drive but i'm not sure how to link you to it?

    Please advise.

    Will
