Not being able to save modulator and performer shapes is a huge let down. I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the many reasons why Massive X still has yet to gain the popularity of the original Massive. 

 

Without this ability the user must either create shapes completely from scratch every time, or use existing presets that may contain many unwanted patch settings, (which is unreasonable). This means more work no matter how you look at it. Not to mention that the user should be able to save routing settings.

While Massive X sounds great the workflow still leaves a TON to be desired. All the little missing bells and whistles such as this add up to a mediocre sound design experience.
