Maschine 3 Software
The Maschine 3 software offers basic Kontrol S-Series MK3 integration.
The integration is focused on standalone mode only (i.e. Maschine running as an application, rather than a plug-in). This means that in standalone mode, it offers support for Transport Control, Play Assist, and seamless hosted plug-in control powered by NKS.
Maschine 2 Software
The Kontrol S MK3 can be used with Maschine 2 as a regular MIDI controller.
This means that while you can play your plug-in synthesizers and instruments with your Kontrol S MK3 in Maschine via MIDI and use MIDI CC, there is currently no advanced integration such as transport control, scene change, etc.
