When loading a library instrument in Kontakt you may receive the following error message:
"Future application version needed"
This message appears when you attempt to load a library instrument in Kontakt that had originally been saved with a newer version of the software.
Note: Kontakt Play Series libraries (Analog Dreams / Ethereal Earth / Hybrid Keys) require Kontakt (Player) version 6 and higher.
To resolve this issue, please install the latest Kontakt update with Native Access. Check the Updates page for the latest download version.
If you wish to use a Kontakt Play Series library (Analog Dreams / Ethereal Earth / Hybrid Keys), ensure that you load it with either Kontakt or Kontakt Player version 6 or 7.
Note: Kontakt 6 will appear in your DAW as Kontakt.
