Kontakt Error Message: "This patch is encrypted and cannot be loaded"

Symptom

When you try to load an Instrument in Kontakt, you receive the following error message:

This patch is encrypted and cannot be loaded unless the respective Library is registered properly.

Cause

The nicnt-file of the Kontakt Library is corrupted.

Solution

• In Kontakt's Library Tab, click the Refresh button:
