The Battery 4 Plug-In is Missing from my DAW Since Updating to 4.1.6 (Mac)
Symptoms
After having installed the Battery 4.1.6 update on a Mac computer:
- Battery is no longer displayed in your host sequencer's plug-in browser.
- your host sequencer shows an error message indicating Battery cannot be loaded when you try to load a project using Battery.
Cause
On Mac computers, Battery is only available in 64-bit plug-in format since version 4.1.6.
Battery will thus no longer be compatible with your host sequencer if it is running in 32-bit mode.
Solution
You have two options to solve this issue:
- Start your host sequencer in 64-bit mode if you want to use Battery latest update. Consult your host sequencer's documentation to learn how to start it in 64-bit mode.
- Downgrade Battery to version 4.1.5. To do so, download the installation file below:
